While preparing for a new Linux training session I thought I could share the videos I’m preparing for the participants. In that one you can review /learn the installation steps for Linux Debian 8. I use Virtual Box like that you can also learn Linux if you have a Windows or a Mac. The steps are the same. Hope this is of some help. This virtual machine can now be the base for the practices on learning Linux and it can also be a base for a web server, a content management system like Wordpress,Drupal, Joomla, or a mail server.

Before to start a new installation of Debian version 8.3 in 64 bit version, it’s always good to review the complete process. Those same steps can also be applied to the 32 bit version. The files to use depending on your version are:
64 bit  debian-8.3.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso
32 bit debian-8.2.0-i386-DVD-1.iso
